Join us on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM) at the Helliwell Centre, Osgoode Hall Law School for Inclusion Day, an event that will focus on the theme of belonging and exploring ways we can promote a greater sense of belonging at York. This event is a joint partnership between the Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion (REI); the Law Commission of Ontario; and the President's Advisory Committee on Human Rights Sub-Committees. - MORNING FORUM WITH LAW COMMISSION ONTARIO - Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights at YorkU: A Panel Discussion on Impacts and Opportunities 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Join the exciting interdisciplinary conversation with the Law Commission of Ontario and York thought-leaders in philosophy, human rights, law, and technology explore key questions being raised about artificial intelligence systems: How can AI systems avoid automating bias? Is AI any more robust or neutral than human decision making? And how can York University ensure that AI tools and research on campus contributes to inclusion rather than exclusion? This is a great opportunity to engage in conversation with the committees, learn more about their work and provide direct feedback on some of their progress.
